It is the desire of the Borough Council of the Borough of Punxsutawney, Jefferson County, Pennsylvania, and the Borough Council hereby signifies its intention to organize a Parking Authority under the Act of June 5, 1947, P.L. 458, as amended.[1]

The name of the proposed Authority shall be the "Punxsutawney Parking Authority."
The following persons are hereby appointed members of the Board of the Punxsutawney Parking Authority for the terms of office indicated:[1]

Pursuant to said desire and intention of the Borough Council and in conformance with the terms and provisions of said Act of June 5, 1947, P.L. 458, as amended,[1] the proposed Articles of Incorporation are hereby set forth in full, as follows:
A. 
The name of the Authority shall be the "Punxsutawney Parking Authority."
B. 
The Authority is formed under the Act of June 5, 1947, P.L. 458, as amended.[2]

C. 
The name of the incorporating municipality is the "Borough of Punxsutawney, Jefferson County, Pennsylvania."
D. 
The names and addresses of the Mayor, the President of the Council and of all its members are as follows:[3]

The names, addresses and terms of office of the first members of the Board of said Authority are:[4]

The proposed Articles of Incorporation of said Punxsutawney Parking Authority shall be executed by and on behalf of the Borough of Punxsutawney, by the Mayor and the President of the Council, and the Seal of said Borough shall be thereto affixed, attested by the Borough Secretary, and filed with the Secretary of the Commonwealth. The Solicitor is hereby authorized and directed to cause to be published the notice of intention to file the Articles of Incorporation with the Secretary of the Commonwealth as required by the aforementioned Act.[1]
