No person, partnership or corporation shall permit or shall
burn or cause to have burned or permit to have burned any recyclable
materials, including leaf and yard waste, within the Borough of Ridley
Park. The requirements of this section shall not, however, apply to
the open burning operations resulting from any fire solely for recreational
or ceremonial purposes or for cooking food.
A.
Any person who shall violate any provisions of § 164-14 hereof shall, upon conviction thereof, be punishable by a fine of not more than $300 and costs of such proceedings or, upon default of payment of such fines and costs, by imprisonment in the county jail for a term of not more than 30 days. The continuation of such violation for each successive day shall constitute a separate offense, and the person or persons allowing or permitting the continuation of the violation may be punished as provided above for each separate offense.
B.
The application of the above penalty shall not be held to prevent
the enforced removal of prohibited conditions.
