A.
No person shall drive any vehicle upon any portion of a street in the Township listed in Schedule I-A (§ 187-33), which is incorporated by reference into and made a part of this section, at a greater rate of speed than the maximum prescribed for that part of the street in that schedule.
B.
Any person who violates any provision of this section
shall, upon conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine of $35 and costs.
Any person exceeding a maximum speed limit by more than five miles
per hour shall pay an additional fine of $2 per mile for each mile
in excess of five miles per hour over the maximum speed limit.
A.
Official traffic signals shall be erected at those intersections listed in Schedule I-B (§ 187-34), which is incorporated by reference into and made a part of this section, and traffic at those intersections shall be directed by those signals.
B.
Any driver of a vehicle who disobeys the directions
of an official traffic signal shall, upon conviction, be sentenced
to pay a fine of $25 and costs.
A.
Those intersections listed in Schedule I-C (§ 187-35), which is incorporated by reference into and made a part of this section, are established as intersections where drivers of vehicles headed in the direction or directions indicated are prohibited from making a right turn (or a left turn from a one-way street into another one-way street) on a steady red signal.
B.
Any driver of a vehicle who makes a turn on a red
signal in violation of this section shall, upon conviction, be sentenced
to pay a fine of $25 and costs.

One-way streets are established as listed in Schedule I-D (§ 187-36), which is incorporated by reference into and made a part of this section. It shall be unlawful for any person to drive a vehicle upon a one-way street other than in the direction established for traffic upon that street.
B.
Any person who violates any provision of this section
shall, upon conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine of $25 and costs.
A.
Schedule I-E (§ 187-37), which is incorporated by reference into and made a part of this section, lists intersections where turns are restricted or prohibited. It shall be unlawful for the driver of any vehicle, of the type indicated, traveling upon the first-named street at any intersection named in that schedule, in the direction or directions indicated in each case, to make a left turn and/or a right turn into the second-named street, as indicated, at any time when a turn is prohibited by that schedule.

Any person who violates any provision of this section
shall, upon conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine of $25 and costs.

No-passing zones are listed in Schedule I-F (§ 187-38), which is incorporated by reference into and made a part of this section. It shall be unlawful for the driver of any vehicle to overtake or pass another vehicle or drive on the left side of the roadway in any no-passing zone.

Any person who violates any provision of this section
shall, upon conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine of $25 and costs.
A.
Through highways are listed in Schedule I-G (§ 187-39), which is incorporated by reference into and made a part of this section, and stop or yield signs shall be erected at every intersection of every through highway (except those intersections where traffic signals are erected and maintained as provided in § 187-8), facing traffic approaching the through highway on intersecting highways. Every driver of a vehicle approaching the through highway on any intersecting street where there is a stop or yield sign shall stop the vehicle as required by Section 3323(b) or 3323(c) of the Vehicle Code,[1] as the case may be, and shall not proceed into or across
the through highway until he has followed all applicable requirements
of that section of the law.

Those intersections listed in Schedule I-H (§ 187-40), which is incorporated by reference into and made a part of this section (in addition to streets intersecting with the through highways established by § 187-13) are established as stop intersections, and official stop signs shall be erected (or are ratified if previously erected) in such a position as to face traffic approaching the second-named street upon the first-named street at each stop intersection, in the direction or directions indicated for that intersection. Every driver of a vehicle approaching the intersection upon the first-named street, in the direction indicated in each case, shall stop the vehicle as required by Section 3323(b) of the Vehicle Code[1] and shall not proceed into or across the second-named
street until he has followed all applicable requirements of that section
of the law.

Those intersections listed in Schedule I-I (§ 187-41), which is incorporated by reference into and made a part of this section (in addition to streets intersecting with the through highways established by § 187-13) are established as yield-right-of-way intersections, and official yield signs shall be erected in such a position as to face traffic approaching the second-named street upon the first-named street at each yield intersection, in the direction or directions indicated for that intersection. Every driver of a vehicle approaching the intersection upon the first-named street, in the direction indicated in each case, shall slow down or stop the vehicle as required by Section 3323(c) of the Vehicle Code,[1] and then yield the right-of-way as required by that subsection
of the Vehicle Code.

Any person who violates any provision of this section
shall, upon conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine of $25 and costs.
A.
On those streets and portions of streets listed in Schedule I-J (§ 187-42), which is incorporated by reference into and made a part of this section, vehicle weight limits are established by authority granted by Section 4902(a) of the Vehicle Code,[1] and it shall be unlawful for any person to operate on
any of those streets or portions of streets, as the case may be, any
vehicle or combination having a gross weight in excess of the maximum
prescribed for that street or portion of street.

Vehicles may be permitted to exceed the weight limits by applying
for an overweight highway occupancy permit through the Township office.

(a)
Applicant shall comply with any generally applicable bonding
and permitting requirements for Township roads that are to be used
by overweight vehicles and equipment.
(b)
Applicant shall provide a transportation route map which depicts
the roads to be utilized in the Township.
(c)
An inventory of the condition of the road(s) shall be done by
the Township and the applicant shall have the opportunity to be present
while the Township videos the road. The applicant shall be responsible
to reimburse the Township for the road inventory at the current rate
set by resolution.

(d)
Applicant shall also submit at the time of application a road
restoration plan that indicates how the applicant plans to address
damage to Township roads.

B.
Any person who violates any provision of this section
shall be prosecuted under Section 4902(a) of the Vehicle Code and,
upon conviction, shall be sentenced to pay a fine of $150 and costs,
and an additional penalty of $75 for each 500 pounds, or part thereof,
in excess of 3,000 pounds over the maximum allowable weight as prescribed
by Section 4902(e-1) of the Vehicle Code.[2]

It shall be unlawful and no person shall operate any vehicle other
than a passenger car on Willowbrook Road between State Route 201 and
Vernon Drive, except where necessary in order to pick up or deliver
any goods, wares, merchandise or material from or to any premises
located on any such street or portion of a street.

It shall be unlawful, and no person shall operate a large truck
on the following Township roads:

Large trucks shall be permitted to travel on the following streets
to make local deliveries and pickups to business establishments and
adhering the following restrictions:

Large trucks, school buses and garbage trucks on that portion of
Finley Road between Rehoboth Road and the Tri County Plaza or Kmart
Plaza, provided that any and all large trucks exiting onto Finlev
Road after making a local delivery shall proceed east on Finley Road
toward Interstate 70 and enter Interstate 70 at Exit 44 (the Arnold
City exit).

Large trucks, school buses and garbage trucks shall be permitted
to travel on Finley Road between SR 3011 and the eastbound side of
the Finley Road Bridge over Cedar Creek to make local deliveries and
pickups.
B.
Definitions. As used in this section, the term "large truck" shall
mean any vehicle tri-axle truck and/or semi-tractor trailer truck
by which any person or property is or may be transported or drawn
upon a highway.

A.
Snow and ice emergency routes are established on those streets and portions of streets listed in Schedule I-L (§ 187-44), which is incorporated by reference into and made a part of this section. In order to facilitate the movement of traffic and to combat the hazards of ice and snow on those snow and ice emergency routes, the Mayor, at his discretion, may declare a snow and ice emergency and afterward may declare the emergency terminated. Information on the existence of the emergency may be given through radio, newspaper or other available media, and notification of the termination of the emergency may be given by use of the same media.
B.
While a snow and ice emergency is in effect, it shall
be unlawful, at any time during the continuance of the emergency,
for any person to park a motor vehicle or to allow the vehicle to
remain parked on any snow and ice emergency route; or for any person
to drive a motor vehicle, not equipped with snow tires or equivalent
tires or tire chains, on a snow and ice emergency route.
C.
If, at any time during a period of snow and ice emergency,
a person parks a motor vehicle anywhere upon a snow and ice emergency
route, that person shall be guilty of a violation of this section
and, upon conviction, shall be sentenced to pay a fine of $15 and
costs.
D.
If, at any time during a period of snow and ice emergency,
a person drives a motor vehicle not equipped with snow tires or equivalent
tires or tire chains upon a snow and ice emergency route, that person
shall be guilty of a violation of this section and, upon conviction,
shall be sentenced to pay a fine of $25 and costs.
