The Mayor and City Treasurer may sign all city warrants and checks with
a stamp to be adopted by them, which stamp shall be a facsimile of their signatures,
or by an automatic signing device containing their signatures. All such city
warrants and checks, when signed by such automatic signing device, shall be
accepted by the City Controller, City Treasurer and all other persons and
acted upon the same as if signed by the Mayor and Treasurer in ink and in
their own proper handwriting.
