No person shall shoot or discharge an arrow from a bow
or shall point a bow and arrow at another person within the city limits.
B.Â
This section shall not be construed to prohibit supervised
archery practice at any public or private school or nonprofit institution,
provided that such archery practice is conducted within enclosed spaces or
areas such as to prevent any arrows from causing any injury to any person.
Any person violating any of the provisions of this article shall be
liable, upon conviction, to a fine of not less than $100, plus costs, nor
more than $300, plus costs, and, in default of payment, imprisonment not to
exceed 30 days for each offense. Each discharge of an arrow shall constitute
a separate offense. Each person at which an arrow is pointed in violation
of this section shall constitute a separate offense. Each day that a violation
continues shall be deemed a separate offense.
