No person shall conduct any house, room, place or resort where games
of any description are played or operated for money or other thing of value
or where policies are sold.
The presence in any house, room, place or resort of roulette wheels,
faro tables, poker tables or other apparatus, machine or device commonly used
for gambling shall be deemed prima facie evidence of the house, room, place
or resort being used for gambling purposes.
No person whether acting as proprietor, lessee, agent or employee shall
conduct any game for money or anything for value or sell policies.
No person shall rent any house, room, place or resort to any party who
conducts therein any game for money or other thing of value or sells policies,
after having been previously notified by the Superintendent of Police that
gambling is conducted within such premises.
No person shall frequent any house, room, place or resort where games
are played for money or other thing of value or where policies are sold.
