The emergency services program previously established within the township
is specifically confirmed. The individuals in charge thereof are likewise
confirmed in their positions and specifically granted the necessary authority
to carry out emergency services as the same may be required within the township.
The proper officers of the township are directed and authorized to make
application to both the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and/or any agency of
the federal government for reimbursement to the township for any and all costs
which can be reimbursed, which costs have been incurred by the township in
dealing with emergency services. Such authorization to seek reimbursement
shall be continuing authorization to the emergency services team within the
township to seek reimbursement from state agencies or federal agencies for
any and all reimbursable costs incurred in dealing with emergencies that may
arise in the township.
The proper officers of the township are authorized and directed to take
all other necessary and appropriate action to implement the emergency services
reimbursement program, including providing copies of this article to such
agencies as may require.
