A certain document, three copies of which are on file in the office of the Township Manager of South Fayette Township, being marked and designated as the "International Building Code," including Appendix Chapters C, F, H, and I, as published by the International Code Council, Inc., be and is hereby adopted as the Building Code of South Fayette Township, in the State of Pennsylvania; for the control of building and structures as herein provided; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said Building Code are hereby referred to, adopted, and made a part hereof, as if fully set out in this article, with the additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed in § 125-2 of this article.
The following sections are hereby revised:

E. 
Add Section 1404.11 to read as follows:

1404.11 Required exterior finishes. On the construction of all new structures, all exterior wall surfaces shall be finished to grade as detailed below:
1404.11.1 Other nonresidential structures. All exterior wall surfaces shall be finished to grade with brick, stone or other material approved by the Building Inspector. The selection of exterior finishes shall take into account the site of the proposed building and shall be related to the existing and anticipated development in the surrounding area.
Chapter 125 of the Township Code of Ordinances, of South Fayette Township, entitled Building Construction and all other ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Nothing in this article or in the Building Code hereby adopted shall be construed to affect any suit or proceeding impending in any court, or any rights acquired, or liability incurred, or any cause or causes of action acquired or existing, under any act or ordinance hereby repealed as cited in § 125-3 of this article; nor shall any just or legal right or remedy of any character be lost, impaired or affected by this article.
The Township Secretary shall certify to the adoption of this article and cause the same to be published as required by law; and this article shall take effect and be in force from and after its approval as required by law.
