A.
It is hereby ordained and enacted that the bridge
weight restriction regulations adopted by the Pennsylvania Department
of Transportation and disseminated by that agency are hereby specifically
adopted by the Township of South Fayette and are to be applied to
all bridges in use within the Township.
B.
The proper officers of the Township are directed to
erect such weight restriction signs as may be required under these
regulations.
The proper officials of the Township are further
authorized and directed to apply to the Pennsylvania Department of
Transportation for any and all reimbursement available to them under
this program, both with respect to the costs of adopting this article,
as well as the cost of obtaining and erecting the necessary weight
restriction signs on the bridges within the Township of South Fayette.
The proper officers of the Township are also
directed to carry out any and all other steps necessary to implement
the bridge weight restriction program established by the Pennsylvania
Department of Transportation.
