A Township Planning Commission, consisting of seven members, is hereby created and established for West Lampeter Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, pursuant to the provisions of Article II of Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code.[1]

The Planning Commission shall be comprised of seven members who shall be appointed for a term of office of four years, except that the terms of office of the members of the existing Planning Commission and newly appointed members shall be arranged to be with two terms expiring in 1974, two terms expiring in 1975, one term expiring in 1976, and two terms expiring in 1977.
The Planning Commission shall have all the powers and duties conferred and imposed on it as set forth in said Article II of said Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code.[1]

Appointments of new members shall be made so that the members of the existing Planning Commission shall continue in office until the end of the terms for which they were appointed, the new members and successors being appointed as provided by Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code.[1]
