PERSON
The following words, when used in this article, shall
have the meaning ascribed to them in this section:
When used in reference to dogs, off the premises of the owner unaccompanied
by the owner and not under the control of the owner.
Both male and female.
When applied to the proprietorship of a dog, includes every person
having a right of property in such dog and every person who keeps or harbors
such dog or has it in his care and every person who permits such dog to remain
on or about any premises occupied by him.
Includes individuals, corporations, copartnerships and associations.
B.
Singular words shall include the plural. Masculine words
shall include the feminine and neuter.
On and after the effective date of this article, it shall be unlawful
for the owner of any dog or dogs, whether licensed or unlicensed, to permit
such dog or dogs to run at large.
