GENERAL REFERENCES
Peace and good order — See Ch. 110.
It shall be unlawful to throw, deposit or dump any paper, trash, rubbish, ashes, junk, waste, garbage or discarded materials of any kind in or on any private or public property, vacant or occupied, within the Township of Worcester or to maintain any accumulations of such materials in or on any public or private property, vacant or occupied, within said Township.
It shall be unlawful to store or deposit any abandoned or junked automobiles or parts thereof in or on any public or private property, vacant or occupied, within the Township of Worcester.
It shall be unlawful to carry on or maintain any offensive manufacture or business anywhere within the Township of Worcester.
It shall be unlawful to use, maintain, occupy or own any unsafe or dangerous building, structure or physical condition or any part thereof anywhere within the Township of Worcester.
The violation of any of the foregoing sections shall be deemed to be and constitute a nuisance. Whenever it is found that any person, partnership, association or corporation maintains such nuisance or nuisances within the Township of Worcester, said Supervisors of said Township shall serve notice to that effect upon the person, partnership, association or corporation maintaining such nuisance. Such notice shall sufficiently describe the condition complained of and shall require the same to be made safe, to be corrected or to be removed.

Should such person, partnership, association or corporation fail, neglect or refuse to make such condition safe or to correct or remove it to the satisfaction of said Supervisors of the Township of Worcester, they, said Supervisors may abate or cause to be abated said nuisance, and the expense of such abatement shall be paid by such person, partnership, association or corporation. The cost of such abatement or correction or removal of such nuisance, together with a penalty as set forth in § 102-7 of this chapter, shall be recovered from such person, partnership, association or corporation by said Supervisors of the Township of Worcester by summary proceedings to be brought before a District Justice in said Township.

Any person who shall violate any of the provisions of this chapter or who shall fail to comply with any notice from the Supervisors aforesaid, upon conviction thereof, shall be punishable as provided in Chapter 1, Article II, General Penalty, said penalty to be collected by summary proceedings brought in the name of the Township before any District Justice in said Township. A new and separate offense shall be deemed to be committed for each day that such violation exists.
