Fee-based parking lots may be staffed during
hours of operation by an attendant who shall collect a daily fee for
use of the lot and who shall manage the parking operations of the
lot to maximize efficiency, observe established fire lanes and ingress
and egress routes, and collect all revenue and promptly remit all
receipts to the Borough Treasurer.

A.
Customers using fee-based parking lots shall pay a
cash fee established by resolution of the Council for daily parking,
subject to the days and hours of operation established by resolution
of Council for each parking lot.
B.
It shall be unlawful and a violation of this chapter
for anyone to park at a metered parking space or at any parking space
designated as "reserved," or to continue to park after the closing
time of the parking lot.
C.
Vehicles shall be parked wholly within the lines or
markings of the individual parking spaces. It shall be unlawful and
a violation of this chapter for any person to park a vehicle across
any line or marking, or to park a vehicle in such a position that
the vehicle is not wholly within the area designated by the lines
or markings.

It shall be the duty of the police officers and parking
enforcement officers of the Borough of New Hope, acting in accordance
with the directions of the Chief of Police, to report:

The police officer or other person making the report shall also place on or attach to the vehicle a notice to the owner or driver of the vehicle that the vehicle was parked in violation of this article and instructing the owner or driver that if he or she will report to the office of the Chief of Police and pay, for the use of the Borough of New Hope, the sum specified in Article XII, Fines and Penalties, of this chapter, this payment will save the violator from prosecution and from payment of the additional fines and processing fees described in § 259-105 of this chapter.
