The accounts of the Township of Springfield shall be audited
by an independent auditor who shall be a certified public accountant,
registered in Pennsylvania, or a firm of certified public accountants
so registered.
Such independent auditor shall be appointed annually by resolution
at least 30 days prior to the close of the fiscal year to make an
independent examination of all the accounts and accounting records
of the Township of Springfield for the fiscal year then closing, at
a compensation to be fixed by the Board of Township Commissioners.[1]
