Township parks shall be open for public use on a year round
basis, with some areas and facilities not being available during certain
seasons.

No persons are permitted in any park during the hours of darkness,
except those areas designated for extended use activities, or unless
written permission is obtained from the Park and Recreation Board
for after dark programs.

The Park and Recreation Board may temporarily close or curtail
activities, upon any lands or waters or any portion thereof, when
it has been deemed necessary to be in the best interest of public
safety, conduct, health or order.

Swimming is prohibited in all parks except on facilities expressly
designated for that purpose; personal bathing is prohibited.

No person shall ride in or drive any motor vehicle which is
self propelled upon any parkland, except upon the roads, or on areas
which are designed and provided for such purposes. It is prohibited
for any persons to commit any act, by use of operation, of any motor
vehicle on any parkland, which if committed upon the public highways
or street, in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania would be prohibited
and unlawful. Speed limits within all parks shall be 15 miles per
hour unless otherwise posted. No one shall test, repair, or wash any
vehicle or mechanical device in any park. There shall be no parking
at any time except in areas designated for such purposes.

No person shall, without written permission of the Park and
Recreation Board, erect, paint, paste or otherwise affix or distribute
any signs, advertisements, or circulars on park property. The sale
of anything or the solicitation of funds or donations within any park
is forbidden, except upon written permission of the Park and Recreation
Board.

The sale, consumption or possession of dangerous or narcotic
drugs, or gambling of any kind is prohibited in any park.

The sale of intoxicating liquors or beverages is prohibited.

No person shall cut, break, move, take or otherwise injure,
destroy or deface any trees, shrubs, plants, turf, rock or any building,
fence, bridge, sign or other structure; or foul any stream, or dump
any earth, rubbish, or other substance or material in or upon any
park.

No person shall make or kindle any open fire except in fireplaces
and grills provided for this purpose or in private portable grills
approved as safe by the Park and Recreation Board. Grills provided
for public use shall be on a first come, first serve basis, except
by written permission of the Park and Recreation Board.

No persons shall, in any park, set a trap or snare, or shoot,
injure, annoy, disturb, poison any wild animal or bird, or injure
or destroy any nest. If required for control, special permission may
be granted by the Park and Recreation Board.

All persons are forbidden to use threatening, abusive, insulting
or indecent language, or commit any obscene or indecent act or to
fight in any park.

Horses, cattle, livestock and domestic animals of any kind are
prohibited in any park, except a dog or cat on a leash, under control,
of a person is permitted. Horseback riding is prohibited, except on
facilities expressly designated for that purpose.

No person shall carry a knife upon their person having a blade
of three inches or longer in length, or have possession of, or discharge
a BB gun, air rifle, pistol, firearm, bow and arrow, or any other
type of lethal weapon in any park, except on facilities expressly
designated for that purpose.

Practicing, playing or using park areas for gold and archery
is prohibited, except on facilities expressly designated or provided
for such purposes.

No entertainment, demonstration, or exhibition shall be given
in any park except under the supervision of the Park and Recreation
Board.

Permits for playing league or casual athletic games on park
fields or courts may be secured on first come, first served basis
from the Park and Recreation Board. All permits that are granted must
be produced upon demand, in order to avoid conflicts in the use of
facilities.

Reservation permits for group picnic facilities may be obtained
for a nominal fee from the Park and Recreation Board.

No person or persons shall willingly encroach upon lands administered
by the Park and Recreation Board.

Fishing shall be permitted in all waters and from all lands
under the supervision of the Park and Recreation Board during regular
park hours, except those areas designed for other activities.

All of the aforementioned rules requiring permission, require
that such permits must be carried and produced upon demand.

Personnel designated by the Park and Recreation Board of Londonderry
Township are authorized to enforce these Rules and Regulations.

Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any provision
of this Part, upon conviction thereof in an action brought before
a district justice in the manner provided for the enforcement of summary
offenses under the Pennsylvania Rules of Criminal Procedure, shall
be sentenced to pay a fine of not less than $50 nor more than $1,000
plus costs and, in default of payment of said fines and costs, to
a term or imprisonment not to exceed 90 days. Each day that a violation
of this Part continues or each Section of this Part which shall be
found to have been violated shall constitute a separate offense.

District Justices shall, severally throughout the County, have
jurisdiction of violations of the rules and regulations with the condition
that any person arrested for such violation shall be taken before
the closest available magistrate in the County where such violation
is alleged to have occurred.

All applicable statutes of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
have full force and effect upon all Township parklands.
