[HISTORY: Adopted by the Town Board of the
Town of New Castle 10-14-2003 by L.L. No. 4-2003. Amendments noted where

The Town of New Castle hereby adopts and elects
to be bound by the provisions § 466-d of the Real Estate
Property Tax Law to allow exemptions to volunteer fire company and
fire department members and volunteer ambulance service members, as
the same may be amended from time to time, for the purposes of real
property taxes levied for the Town of New Castle and any other Town
districts for which the Town of New Castle levies taxes within its
jurisdiction.

The Town of New Castle hereby adopts and elects to be bound
by the provisions of § 466-h of the Real Property Tax Law
to allow exemptions to volunteer fire company and fire department
members and volunteer ambulance service members to be continued and/or
reinstated to unremarried spouses of deceased members, as the same
may be amended from time to time, for the purposes of real property
taxes levied for the Town of New Castle and any other Town districts
for which the Town of New Castle levies taxes within its jurisdiction.
