The provisions of this chapter shall be severable,
and if any of its provisions shall be held to be unconstitutional,
illegal or otherwise invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity
of any of the remaining provisions of this chapter. It is hereby declared
as a legislative intent that this chapter would have been adopted
had such unconstitutional, illegal or otherwise invalid provision
not been included herein.

The enforcement and penalty for any violation of this chapter is set forth in Chapter
106A.
All motor vehicle laws as described in the Transportation
Article of the Annotated Code of Maryland shall apply, in addition
to the regulations set down in this chapter.

The Chief of Police is authorized to suspend
the application of any provision of this chapter for periods not to
exceed 72 hours or to grant permission with appropriate designation
for vehicles to be utilized in a manner otherwise in violation of
this chapter for such periods when the Chief finds that such temporary
action is in the best interest for the health, welfare and safety
of the citizens and inhabitants of Crisfield. Any such action shall
be reported at the next regular meeting of the Mayor and Council.
