Pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 200 of the Laws of 1971, there is hereby created the office of Municipal Engineer.

The Municipal Engineer shall be appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the Borough Council.
The term of Municipal Engineer shall be three years from the date of such appointment and advice and consent of the Borough Council.
The Municipal Engineer shall perform such duties as are assigned from time to time by the Mayor or Council.
