[Adopted 11-13-1990 by L.L. No. 13-1990; amended in its entirety 7-8-1991 by L.L. No. 3-1991]
All real property owned by one or more persons, each of whom is 65 years of age or over, or real property owned by a husband or wife, one of whom is 65 years or older, shall be exempt from taxation, as defined in the Real Property Tax Law,[1] by the Town of Haverstraw to the extent set forth herein.

The Town of Haverstraw, for assessment rolls prepared on the basis of the taxable status date occurring on or after January 1, 2023, provided the following partial exemptions from real property taxation as set forth in the following schedule:
