It shall be unlawful to double park any vehicle on any street in the Village.
Any vehicle double parked in violation of this article while it is in the custody of any business establishment in the Village of Irvington shall be presumed to have been double parked by the operator of such business as well as by the owner of said vehicle.

The penalty for violation of this article shall be a fine of not less than $75 and not to exceed $250.
For the purposes of this article, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
DOUBLE PARK
A. 
To leave a vehicle more than two feet from the curb unless the vehicle is operable and a licensed driver is present therein; or
B. 
To refuse to move a vehicle located more than two feet from the curb upon request.
This article supersedes and repeals any prior ordinances applicable to double parking on the streets listed in § 213-5 to the extent inconsistent therewith, but does not affect any prior ordinances applicable thereto elsewhere in the Village.
