The owner of any residential property in the
Township shall obtain a certificate of smoke detector and carbon monoxide
alarm compliance and portable fire extinguisher certificate from the
Bureau prior to any residential unit being sold, leased or otherwise
made subject to a change in occupancy.

Application should be made to the Bureau for the issuance of
the certificate with the appropriate fee listed below:
A. Seventy-five dollars: includes one reinspection.
B. Twenty-five dollars: each additional reinspection fee.

Each violation of this article shall be subject to a penalty as set forth in Chapter
1, Article
III, General Penalty, or any subsequent amendments thereto.
