ADDITIONAL POLICIES
The Town of Clinton has in place other personnel policies not
included in this chapter. The Town's Drug-Free Workplace Policy, Equal
Opportunity Employment Policy and Sexual Harassment Policy, among
others, are included in the Employee Handbook.

The Town Board of the Town of Clinton of the
State of New York elects to participate as an employer in the New
York State Employees' Retirement System and approves of the inclusion
of its officers and employees in such system, in accordance with any
and all of the laws governing such participation as set forth in the
Retirement and Social Security Law, as presently or hereafter amended,
together with any administrative rule, regulation or directive governing
same, including full-time allowance for prior service as permitted
therein.

The Town hereby establishes the following as
a standard workday and workweek for elected officials, appointed officials,
and employees for the purpose of determining days worked reportable
to the New York State and Local Employees Retirement System.
A.
A five-day workweek with eight-hour days is established
for the Superintendent of Highways.
B.
Appointed officials. A five-day workweek with six-hour
days is established for the following:

Assessor.
(2)
Budget Officer.
(3)
Building Inspector.
(4)
Deputy Building Inspector.
(5)
Dog Control Officer.
(6)
Recreation Director.
(7)
Deputy Town Clerk.
(8)
Deputy Town Supervisor.
(9)
Registrar of Vital Statistics.

Deputy Registrar of Vital Statistics.

Zoning Administrator.
(12)
Deputy Zoning Administrator.
C.
