The Board shall meet at times and dates designated by the Chairman, who shall be elected by said Board. Three voting members shall constitute a quorum for the transaction of business, and the votes of a majority of all voting members shall be necessary for official action.
The Board shall have jurisdiction over and review the applications of all persons intending to engage in the trade of plumbing within the Town of Grand Island. The Board shall advise the Code Enforcement Officer of an applicant's eligibility to sit for an exam, based on the criteria described in Article IV, Licenses, of this chapter.
The Board shall administer and grade the exams for the various licenses, or upon consent of the Town Board, appoint a testing agency to administer and/or grade such examination. All decisions of the Board shall be final.
The Board may suspend or revoke any plumbing license for just cause upon reviewing the matter at any regular meeting thereof or at a special meeting called for such purposes, as described and in accordance with the procedures set forth in Article IV, Licenses, of this chapter.
