Borough of Yeadon, PA Article V Health Officer

[Adopted 12-7-1995 by Ord. No. 1245 as § 250.01 of the 1995 Code]

§ 29-13 Position created; powers and duties.

There is hereby created the position of Health Officer in and for the Borough. Such Health Officer shall have such functions and duties as are provided in Section 3101 et seq. of the Borough Code.[1] Unless another individual is appointed as Health Officer, the Code Enforcement Officer of the Borough shall be the Health Officer of the Borough.

§ 29-14 Board of Health provisions.

All ordinances and/or rules dealing with and/or mentioning the previously instituted Board of Health, Secretary to the Board of Health and/or any other authorized agent of the Board of Health are hereby amended to conform with the intent and purpose of this article. The duties and responsibilities previously assigned to such Board of Health, Secretary to the Board of Health or any other agent of the Board of Health now are to be assumed by the Health Officer or his or her designee.
