All buildings and structures located within
the corporate limits of the Town of Bethany Beach shall be numbered
according to the government quadrant system of house numbering.

A chart or map shall be maintained in the office
of the Town Council of Bethany Beach showing the proper assigned street
number, which shall be open for inspection by any citizen of the Town
of Bethany Beach.

It shall be the duty of owners or occupants
of every building or structure located within the corporate limits
of the Town of Bethany Beach to place or cause to be placed thereon,
in a place and manner visible from the street, numbers which shall
be not less than four inches high showing the street number of the
building or structure. Such numbers shall be in place within one year
of the date of promulgation of assigned numbers by the Town of Bethany
Beach.
New structures will have house numbers issued
with occupancy permits.
