Town of Bethany Beach, DE Article III Construction Material Specifications

§ 493-4 Specifications adopted by reference. [1]

The Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction of the Delaware Department of Highways and Transportation are hereby adopted and incorporated herein by reference and shall be known as the "Town street specifications."

§ 493-5 Construction standards.

All construction within the right-of-way, including but not limited to sidewalks, all parts of underground or aboveground drainage facilities, bridges and public streets and streets which will be dedicated to public use, shall be constructed in conformance with Chapter 410, Subdivision of Land, and the Town street specifications.

§ 493-6 Repair standards.

All repairs to public streets, drainage facilities, bridges and sidewalks within the public right-of-way shall be done in conformance with the Town street specifications.

§ 493-7 Maintenance bond.

A maintenance bond will be required for a period of one year after completion of construction or repair work.
