The purpose of this article is to promote and protect the public health, safety and welfare by the exercise of the police power of the Township to regulate the direction of travel on certain roadways, and providing for administration, enforcement and penalties. The Board of Supervisors of the Township of Halfmoon hereby determines, declares, and finds as a matter of fact and policy that the public health, safety and welfare requires that the direction of travel on certain roadways within the Township of Halfmoon be regulated.
All definitions contained in the Pennsylvania Vehicle Code with all thereto (Act of June 17, 1976, P.L. 162, as amended)[1] are incorporated herein.

The following are established as one-way roadways, and it shall be unlawful for any person to drive a vehicle upon a one-way roadway in any direction except in the direction established for traffic:[1]
