[Ord. 5-22-34, §§ 6 &
17]
Any license issued under this chapter may be
suspended or revoked for violation of any of the provisions herein
or any of the provisions of the Alcoholic Beverage Control Law or
the statutes heretofore mentioned, or of any of the regulations and
rules prescribed by the State Director of Alcoholic Beverage Control.
In addition, any grounds constituting sufficient cause for refusing
to approve an application for license or to grant a license shall
also constitute sufficient cause for revoking a license, and any change
in circumstances or facts that would have been sufficient grounds
for refusing a license shall be sufficient to revoke a license.
[Ord. 8-20-68]
Proceedings for suspension or revocation shall
be in accordance with the provisions of N.J.S.A. 33:1-31 by service
of a five-day notice of charges preferred against the licensee, as
provided in the act, and affording of a reasonable opportunity for
a hearing. Such suspension or revocation shall carry the penalties
and prohibitions provided for in the act.
