The provisions of this article shall apply except when it is necessary to stop a vehicle to avoid conflict with other traffic or in compliance with the directions of a police officer or official traffic control device.
There shall be no parking throughout the Town from November 1 through April 1 from 3:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. Signs are posted.
No person shall park a vehicle at any time upon any of the streets or parts thereof described in Schedule IX (§ 189-40), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall stop a vehicle upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule X (§ 189-41), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall stand a vehicle upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule XI (§ 189-42), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall park a vehicle between the hours specified in Schedule XII (§ 189-43), of any day, unless otherwise indicated, upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in said Schedule XII, attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall stop a vehicle during the times specified in Schedule XIII (§ 189-44), of any day, unless otherwise indicated, upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in said Schedule XIII, attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall stand a vehicle during the times specified in Schedule XIV (§ 189-45), of any day, unless otherwise indicated, upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in said Schedule XIV, attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall park a vehicle for longer than the time limit shown in Schedule XV (§ 189-46), at any time between the hours listed in Schedule XV of any day, unless otherwise indicated, upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in said Schedule XV, attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall park a vehicle for a period longer than 24 hours in any municipal parking lot owned and/or maintained by the Town. All vehicles, or a combination of vehicles, weighing in excess of five tons are prohibited from using municipal Town parking lots at any time.
No person shall park a vehicle upon any of the streets or parts thereof described in Schedule XVI (§ 189-47), attached to and made a part of this chapter, except at the angle designated and only within the painted stall lines. On all streets or portions thereof where angle parking is now or shall hereafter be authorized, all vehicles parked thereon shall be parked with the front thereof nearest the curb.
The location described in Schedule XVII (§ 189-48), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as loading zones.
In accordance with § 1660-a, Subdivision 6, of the New York Vehicle and Traffic Law, no person shall stop, stand or park a vehicle upon any of the areas designated in § 189-49 (Schedule XVIII, attached to and made a part of this chapter) for longer than the time limit shown.
No person shall stand a vehicle upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule XIX (§ 189-50), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall park a vehicle upon any public sidewalk.
