Editor's Note: Effective 1-1-67, the Board of Supervisors was
replaced by the County Legislature.
There is hereby established in and for the County of Monroe a new department
of county government to be known as the "Public Safety Laboratory."
The Public Safety Laboratory shall provide laboratory service of a public
safety nature to all local governmental units and departments thereof within
the County of Monroe.
The County Executive shall appoint a Director and such additional personnel
as the County Legislature may authorize. In the event that the Office of City
Chemist is discontinued by the City of Rochester, the duties, functions and
resources of that Office shall be absorbed by the Public Safety Laboratory.
