Any York County government employee who is found to have misused or divulged the security code, involving the data processing system, or found to have attempted to breach or convey the security code to any other unauthorized individual or County employee, shall be subject to immediate dismissal.

This policy shall further extend to any individual found to attempt to breach security by accessing and/or attempting to access computer data not within his or her authoritative jurisdiction or assignment.
Improper use of the County telephone billing system is prohibited, and any individual found doing so may be subject to immediate dismissal and/or criminal charges relating to theft by deception.
Employees are required to follow the departmental guidelines established and utilized for these procedures consistent with a common sense usage application.
