Violation of this chapter or any lawful rule, order or regulation pertaining thereto, as determined by the head of the Fire Department, shall be punished by a fine as set forth in Chapter 40, Enforcement, for each day during which such violation continues after actual notice of the regulation, rule or order. Such notice may be given by personal service or by posting the same in a conspicuous place on the premises affected thereby. The Superior Court shall have jurisdiction in equity to enforce any lawful rule, order or regulation of the head of the Fire Department upon application of the head of the Fire Department.
