GENERAL REFERENCES

Pursuant to the provisions of N.J.S.A. 40:12-1 to 40:12-8, there is hereby created a public body in the Township of Evesham to be known as the "Board of Recreation Commissioners of the Township of Evesham."
A. 
The Board of Recreation Commissioners of the Township of Evesham shall consist of not fewer than three members nor more than seven members who shall be citizens and residents of the Township of Evesham.
B. 
Terms.
(1) 
The Commission first appointed shall hold office as follows:
(a) 
One for one year.
(b) 
One for two years.
(c) 
One for three years.
(d) 
Two for four years.
(e) 
Two for five years.
(2) 
All appointments thereafter shall be for staggered terms of three years, with one, one, one, two and two members being appointed in successive years.
C. 
The Manager shall make all appointments.
D. 
Members shall receive no compensation for their services.
The Board of Recreation Commissioners shall have all the power and authority set forth in N.J.S.A. 40:12-1 to 40:12-8.
