GENERAL REFERENCES
Fire prevention — See Ch. 84.
A Bureau of Fire Prevention is hereby established in the Fire Department. The Chief in charge of the Bureau shall be appointed by Council, which appointment shall continue during good behavior and satisfactory service. The Bureau shall operate under the supervision of the Fire Chief. The Fire Chief may detail such members of the Fire Department as inspectors as shall be from time to time necessary. Technical inspectors shall be selected by Council, upon recommendation of the Fire Chief.
A. 
A report of the Bureau of Fire Prevention shall be made annually and transmitted to the Mayor.
B. 
Such report shall contain all proceedings under this chapter and Chapter 84, Fire Prevention, with such statistics as the Fire Chief may wish to include therein.
