As used in this article, the following terms
shall have the meanings indicated:
If not already covered by § 126-1, as used in this
article shall mean any profession licensed by the State of Michigan,
Wayne County or certified by a national or state organization which
is required by the state, county or national organization for the
practice of the profession or operation of business, for example:
doctors, lawyers, engineers, pharmacists, real estate brokers, insurance
sales, etc.
A.
No person shall operate a profession or other business
requiring a license from the state, Wayne County or professional organization
or association as a prerequisite to such operations after the effective
date of this article without first obtaining a license from the city.
B.
An application for said license shall be made and
filed with the City Clerk. Such application shall be issued upon showing
the City Clerk a copy of the license or certificate to practice said
professions in the State of Michigan or Wayne County.
