There is hereby established a Parking Violations Bureau within
the City to handle parking violations for the city.
The personnel and operation of the Parking Violations Bureau
shall be under the supervision of the Chief of Police.
Fines for the following identified parking violations within
the City shall be set by Council, by resolution, and are payable at
the Parking Violations Bureau:
A.
Parked in a handicapped area; no permit.
B.
Parking on sidewalk.
C.
Parking in fire lane.
D.
Parking on private property.
E.
Traffic hazard.
F.
In park after closing (parked).
G.
Double parked.
H.
Parked over 48 hours.
I.
Overtime parking.
J.
Prohibited restricted parking.
K.
Blocking traffic.
L.
Obedience to angle parking.
M.
Parking between sidewalk and curb.
N.
No stopping, standing or parking zone.
O.
Blocking crosswalks.
P.
Blocking driveway.
Q.
Parking facing wrong way.
R.
Any other nonhazardous parking violation.
A judgment cost as established by the applicable statutes of
the state shall be added to each fine payable, for a violation of
a City ordinance, through the Parking Violations Bureau of the Thirty-Third
District Court in accordance with applicable statutes of the state.
