There is hereby created the office of Deputy
Tax Collector of the Borough.
The salary of the Deputy Tax Collector shall
be fixed by the Mayor and Borough Council.
The duties of the Deputy Tax Collector shall
be to act as Tax Collector in all capacities in the event of the incapacity
or absence of the Tax Collector. In the event of death or resignation
or other incapacity of the Tax Collector, the Deputy Tax Collector
shall act in the capacity of Tax Collector until such time as a successor
to the Tax Collector is duly appointed and confirmed by the Mayor
and Borough Council.
