Editor's Note: This ordinance repealed former Art. I, Public Dock at Huddy Park, adopted 11-27-1973 by Ord. No. 1378 as Ch. 54, Art. II, of the 1973 Code, as amended.
The space in the North Branch of Toms River as it runs around the north side of Huddy Park from the State Highway Bridge easterly for a distance of 483 feet and the south side of Huddy Park from the State Highway Bridge easterly for a distance of 636 feet shall be reserved as a public dock, with a limitation of docking for a continuous period of not more than 10 hours.
The remainder of the public docking space around Huddy Park shall be a public dock without time limitation or fee, except as hereinafter mentioned, and appropriate signs shall be erected designating the differentiation.
No person shall dock or maintain any boat at any of the premises hereinbefore mentioned in conflict with the provisions hereof.
Any violation of this article shall be punished by a fine not exceeding the sum of $400 or imprisonment in the common jail of the County of Ocean for a term of more than 90 days, or both. The amount of the penalty, either fine or imprisonment, or both, shall be at the discretion of the Municipal Judge before whom the conviction is had. In no event shall it exceed the maximums hereinbefore set forth.
