Editor's Note: This ordinance repealed former Art. II, Sewer
Connections for Car Washes, Laundromats and Rug-Cleaning Establishments,
adopted 11-27-1973 by Ord. No. 1378 as Ch. 69 of the 1973 Code.
No person, firm or corporation shall establish or operate any
of the following businesses in the Township of Toms River, in the
County of Ocean and State of New Jersey, unless and until the same
is respectively connected to a public or community sanitary sewer
plant, suitable for the proper disposal of the residue from each of
said businesses and establishments:
Any person, firm or corporation convicted of a violation of
this article shall suffer a penalty of not exceeding a fine of $400
or imprisonment in the county jail of Ocean County for a term not
exceeding 30 days, or both, at the discretion of the Magistrate before
whom such conviction is had.
As soon as this article becomes effective, the Township Clerk
shall send a certified copy hereof to the Police Department and to
the Code Enforcement Officer of this municipality in order that each
of them may see that the provisions hereof are enforced.
