Unless otherwise specifically provided in this Code, every application for a license to conduct any trade, occupation or use of premises in the Town shall be in writing and contain the following information:
A. 
Full name and address of applicant.
B. 
Present or proposed place of business within the Town, if any.
C. 
If an individual, date of birth, place of birth and places of residence for the five years immediately prior to the date of application.
D. 
If a corporation, the state and year of incorporation and principal place of business together with all the information required in Subsection C herein for all the principal officers and principal stockholders of the corporation. For the purposes of this chapter, "principal officer" shall mean the president, vice president, secretary and treasurer and "principal stockholder" shall mean any person owning 10% or more of the outstanding shares of stock of such corporation.
E. 
If a partnership, the names and addresses of all partners, general and limited, if any, together with the information required in Subsection C herein for all partners.
F. 
Whether or not the applicant, including partners, principal officers and principal stockholders, has been convicted of a misdemeanor or felony; and if so, the nature of the offense, date of conviction and court.
G. 
Whether or not the applicant, including partners, principal officers and principal stockholders, or any other partnership or corporation in which the applicant was a corporate officer or had a 10% interest or more, had been previously licensed; and if so, whether such license was ever suspended or revoked; and if so, for what cause.
H. 
The number of any state license or permit, if any.
I. 
Such other information as may be required by any other provision of this Code.
J. 
Such additional information as may be required by the Town Clerk or other licensing official.
Upon payment of the required fee and subject to the conditions contained in this chapter, the Town Clerk or other licensing official shall issue a license specifying the trade, occupation or use of premises thereby authorized and such license shall become effective from the date thereof and shall continue in force for the term specified therein but shall not be transferable.
Any license issued pursuant to the provisions of this chapter shall not be issued for a longer term than until the first day of January next succeeding.
A. 
A license may be refused if the applicant shall have been convicted of a misdemeanor or felony, which in the judgment of the Town Clerk or other licensing official renders the applicant unfit or undesirable to carry on the trade or occupation involved.
B. 
The Town Clerk or other licensing official may also refuse a license to any person who in his judgment shall be an undesirable person or incapable of properly conducting the trade or business desired.
Any applicant who has been refused a license by the Town Clerk or other licensing official may apply to the Town Board therefor, and the same may be granted or refused by the Town Board except as otherwise provided in this Code and the Town Law.[1]

After a public hearing thereon at which the licensee shall have an opportunity to be heard, the Town Board may revoke any license issued under the authority of Article 9 of the Town Law to any applicant whom the Town Board shall determine to be an undesirable person or incapable of properly conducting the trade or business previously licensed.[1]
