Notwithstanding those provisions of Real Property
Tax Law § 485-b, which provide exemptions from real property
tax increases attributable to certain construction, alterations, installations
or improvement to or upon real property for the purpose of commercial,
business or industrial activity, as specified therein, and pursuant
to the specific grant of authority contained in Subdivision 7 of § 485-b
of the Real Property Tax Law, the City of Glen Cove, acting by and
through the City Council of the City of Glen Cove, hereby reduces
the per centum of exemption otherwise allowed pursuant to Subdivision
2(a) of § 485-b of the Real Property Tax Law to 0% for each
year for which an exemption is allowed pursuant to § 485-b,
Subdivision 2(a), of the Real Property Tax Law.
