The title of this ordinance is "Boat Launching
Fee, City of North Tonawanda."
The purpose of this chapter is to promote, control
and regulate traffic at North Tonawanda's boat launching and parking
area facilities.
No motor vehicle shall be permitted to launch
a boat at any park from April 15 to October 15 of each year unless
the trailer pulled by said vehicle displays a valid use permit, except
vehicles serving the City of North Tonawanda for emergency or other
designated municipal purposes.

A.
Permits
shall be issued by the Department of Youth, Recreation and Parks at
the Norman L. Keller Building, 500 Wheatfield Street, North Tonawanda,
New York, during hours duly specified for this purpose. Hours of sale
shall be published in the City’s designated newspaper prior
to the beginning of the boating season.
B.
Permits
shall be issued at the following fee schedule upon submission of the
trailer registration:

Said permits
will be in effect during the boating season of each year.
D.
When an
individual owns more than one trailer, a separate permit shall be
purchased at full price for each trailer.
A.
A trailer parking permit in the form of a sticker
shall be valid only when displayed on the trailer in a location proximate
to the license plate or any other such place as authorized by the
Director of Youth, Recreation and Parks.
B.
Mutilated, damaged, lost or stolen permits may be
replaced for an additional fee designated by the Director of Youth,
Recreation and Parks.
C.
The permit shall be valid only during the boating
season for the year of issue.

D.
The permit shall be valid only from April 15 to October
15 for the years of issue.
The operator or driver of the motor vehicle
pulling the trailer, launching and/or parking at the North Tonawanda
boat launching sites without displaying a valid trailer parking permit
shall be guilty of a violation and subject to a fine of not more than
$250 or imprisonment for a period not to exceed 15 days, or by both
such fine and imprisonment. Each day such violation is committed or
permitted to continue shall constitute a separate offense and shall
be punishable as such.
This chapter shall take effect upon approval
by the Common Council of the City of North Tonawanda and publication
in the official newspaper of the city.
