Following the recommendations of the Rahway Charter Commission and
effective as of January 1, 1955, the voters of the City of Rahway,
by referendum held on November 3, 1953, adopted as the city's form of government "Mayor-Council Plan F" of the Optional Municipal
Charter Law, commonly known as the "Faulkner Act." This Charter recites
sections of statute, several of which have been amended or repealed.
