[HISTORY: Adopted by the Board of Trustees
of the Village of Patchogue 10-13-1981 by L.L. No. 21-1981 (Ch. 21 of the 1968
Code). Amendments noted where applicable.]
The membership of the Zoning Board of Appeals
of the Village of Patchogue and of the Planning Board of said Village
is hereby increased to seven members each.

The first appointments of the additional two
members of each of said Boards shall be for terms so fixed that they
shall expire at the end of an official year to be designated by the
Board of Trustees no later than the fifth year following the appointment
of each such member. The terms of office for such additional members
shall be so fixed that the terms of office of no more than two members
of each Board shall expire in any one year. Subsequent to the expiration
of the original appointment of each of the additional members to each
such Board, succeeding members shall be appointed for full three-year
terms.

Members of the Planning Board and Zoning Board
of Appeals shall comply with the training requirements prescribed
by Village Law § 7-712, Subdivision 7-a, and § 7-718,
Subdivision 7-a. Such training shall be approved by the Board of Trustees.
