It shall be unlawful for any person, persons or corporation to burn paper, rubbish or anything whatsoever outdoors within the limits of the Borough of Parkside, except as provided for in the chapter and at such time or times as Council may by resolution specify.
It shall be unlawful for any person, persons or corporation, during the hours permitted by this chapter, to set fire to any paper, rubbish or anything whatsoever within the limits of the Borough of Parkside within 10 feet of any building in the Borough.
The burning of paper, rubbish or anything whatsoever, during the hours permitted by this chapter, shall be done only by burning in metal or other approved fireproof containers.

It shall be unlawful for any person, persons or corporation to build open fires in the Borough, except for the use of approved chimeneas and barbecue grills. In addition to the placement restrictions contained in § 58-2, no approved chimeneas and/or barbecue grills shall be placed under low-hanging tree branches or other obstacles as to cause a fire hazard in the Borough.

Any person, persons or corporation violating the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction before any District Justice, pay a fine of not less than $25 nor more than $1,000, together with the cost of prosecution, and in default of payment thereof, shall be imprisoned for a term of not more than 30 days.
