[Adopted as Ch. 74, Art. II, of the 1979 Code]
From and after the passage of this article, all household garbage and rubbish of any nature shall be placed in closed waterproof containers and shall be placed along the curb for collection by the duly designated collector of the Borough of Parkside.[1]

No person shall keep any material having an offensive odor except within a fully enclosed container, nor shall any garbage pail be permitted to be kept or left uncovered.
A. 
All garbage and rubbish from business houses in the Borough of Parkside shall be kept in closed waterproof containers until collected by the collector engaged by the place of business for such purpose.
B. 
All paper, cardboard and paper products from business houses in the Borough of Parkside shall be kept in closed containers or in securely tied bundles until collected by the collector engaged by the place of business for such purpose.

Any person, persons, firm or corporation violating the provisions of this article shall, upon conviction thereof before any District Justice, be sentenced to pay a fine of not less than $75 nor more than $1,000, together with costs of prosecution and, in default of payment thereof, shall be sentenced to not more than 30 days in the county prison.
