If any clause, sentence, subdivision, paragraph, section or
part of this chapter be adjudged by any court of competent jurisdiction
to be invalid, such judgment shall not affect, impair or invalidate
the remainder of this chapter but shall be confined in its operation
to the clause, sentence, subdivision, paragraph, section or part thereof
directly involved in the controversy in which such judgment shall
have been rendered.
In the event that the provisions of this chapter are inconsistent
with the provisions of any ordinance of the Village of Brockport heretofore
adopted, the provisions of this chapter shall be applicable and shall
supersede such inconsistent prior provision. However, in such event,
only the prior provisions inconsistent with any provision of this
chapter shall be deemed superseded, and all other provisions in any
such heretofore adopted ordinance not inconsistent with the provisions
of this chapter shall continue in full force and effect.
Any and all existing sewer ordinances, sewer use ordinances
or sewer commission ordinances adopted by the Board of Trustees Village
of Brockport are hereby repealed as of the effective date of this
chapter.
This chapter shall be in full force and effect 30 days after
its final passage and adoption. All prior ordinances and parts of
ordinances in conflict with this chapter are hereby repealed.
