A. 
The administrative functions, powers and duties of statutory and other agencies of the Township government not otherwise allocated and assigned by this chapter shall be subject to the supervision of the Mayor except as otherwise specifically required by law, and for this purpose such statutory and other agencies are allocated and assigned to the office of the Mayor.
B. 
The following is an enumeration of statutory agencies:
(1) 
Planning Board. The Planning Board, as heretofore established by ordinance, amended in 1976 and appearing as Chapter 75, Article I, of the Greenwich Township Code and empowered pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:55D-1 et seq., as amended and supplemented, is continued, and the members shall be appointed as provided by law.[1]

Editor's Note: Original § 3-35B(2), Board of Adjustment, which previously followed this subsection, was repealed 12-27-1995 by Ord. No. 22-1995, which ordinance dissolved the Zoning Board of Adjustment. Said Ord. No. 22-1995 provided that the Planning Board shall exercise all of the powers of a Board of Adjustment, as authorized by N.J.S.A. 40:55D-25.
(2) 
Municipal Court. The Municipal Court of the Township of Greenwich, previously created by ordinance adopted 9-20-1948 and appearing as Chapter 36 of the Greenwich Township Code under the power and authority granted to governing bodies by Chapter 293 of the Laws of 1993, N.J.S.A. 2B:12-1 et seq. and any amendments or supplements thereto, shall be continued.[2]

(3) 
Environmental Commission. The Environmental Commission created by ordinance adopted 5-3-1971 and appearing as Chapter 49 of the Greenwich Township Code pursuant to law (Chapter 245, Laws of 1968, N.J.S.A. 40:56A-1 et seq.) shall be continued, and the members shall be appointed by the Mayor.
