It is appropriate to establish an independent
position of Housing Inspector to enforce regulations respecting dwellings
and/or motels and buildings through the community. Such position exists
to promote the health and welfare of the community.
There is hereby established the position of
Housing Inspector of the Township of Greenwich.
The Housing Inspector shall perform these duties set forth in N.J.A.C. 5:10-1B.5 and as may be amended from time to time as well as the Property Maintenance Code as per Chapter 520.
The Housing Inspector shall serve for a term
initially to December 31, 2007, and thereafter for one-year terms.
