Upon the following streets and parts of streets,
vehicular traffic shall move only in the indicated direction when
signs indicating the direction of traffic are erected and maintained
at every intersection where movement in the opposite direction is
prohibited:

Every person convicted of a violation of this article shall
be punished by a fine of $10 for the first violation and $15 for each
violation thereafter.
Whenever by this article or any other ordinance a one-way street
is described, it shall be the duty of the Chief of Police to erect
appropriate signs giving notice thereof.
